Can you let go of carbohydrates?

Carbohydrates are long being part of our lives and it is hard to cut them off from the everyday diet. Carb includes both simple carbs and complex carbs. Simple carbs such as refined sugars, added sugars and white grains that are included in many food products including white bread, white pasta, and white rice. Other products that are loaded with simple carbs include soda, cookies, cakes, crackers, donuts and many others. They are bad for you.

Not all carbs are bad for you. Complex carbs are more in their natural state and includes beans, seeds, nuts, green vegetables and fruits. Additionally, whole grain breads, rice and others are found to contain complex carbs and therefore, considered beneficial to promote good health. They may also help to lower your blood sugar, cholesterol, and control your appetite.

It may be difficult to cut simple carbs from your diet. However, finding ways to reduce consumption of them is the first step to cut them off. There are supplements that can help to slowdown or limit absorption of carbs by your body. But they alone may not help you to reduce carbs and you need to slowly cut them off your diet.
