Why it’s dangerous to have dirty bedding

If you have been using the same sheets on your bed and it has been weeks or even months since you last changed them out, you need to get them out and change them. Right now. Do you have any idea how risky and dangerous it is to have dirty bedding in your home? Off the bat, prolonged use of sheets are dirty, and there is a huge possibility of it having a colony of dust mites living in your sheets. Even if you think they are clean, they actually aren’t. Do you know why? It’s because your own body sheds a whole lot of particles everywhere you go. So if you have sheets that have been in your bed for months at a time, think of all the dust, skin and other particles that it has been collecting, and you’re sleeping on it! Don’t use the smell of your sheets as an indicator of whether you should change them out or not. It’s ideal for you to be changing sheets at least once every two weeks so you can maintain good housekeeping and hygiene. Other than that, you’ll find that it would be a lot easier to breathe and your sleep would be a whole lot more comfortable with new sheets on. Besides, who doesn’t love new sheets on their bed? No one. You could develop allergies, asthma, and a host of other health-related issues due to dirty sheets. So change them up frequently, and don’t forget to do the laundry as well.
